How long is the shelf life of this product?  A year or less?  

Our products have a shelf life or PAO (period after opening) of 6-9 months. However, they may have maintained if you have stored them in a cool, dry place. What causes many products (especially with organic ingredients) to go rancid is placing fingers in a jar that has bacteria. In addition, light and heat can cause sensitive oils to degrade. Clean hands are best when applying lotions, creams, oils, etc.
