As we navigate the incredible journey of pregnancy, it’s natural to miss those nights out with friends and the freedom to indulge in a delicious cocktail. In case you missed the post earlier this summer: Fun Summer Mocktails, we have another batch of recipes whipped up.
We think being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice all the fun. In fact, there’s a whole world of tantalizing mocktails waiting to be explored, perfect for satisfying those cravings and keeping you feeling fabulous and refreshed. So, sit back, and make a toast to your pregnancy journey!
Mocktails to Order While Pregnant
It’s girl's night out, you’re dressin’ up the bump, satisfying those cravings by looking at the menu of the restaurant beforehand, rubbing on your bod with Tummy Butter before putting on those wedges you bought pre-pregnancy, and embracing that pregnancy glow. You want to be able to cheer with the girls to new beginnings and celebrate new chapters, but you only have water? Hey Mama, more power to you, it is so important to stay hydrated, but why not order a festive mocktail?
No mocktail menu? No problem, ask your server (or bartender) about making one of these mocktails for you (pregnant or not)!
- Virgin Mojito:A classic favorite, refreshing and bursting with lime and mint flavors.
- Ginger Ale Fizz: Ginger ale mixed with a splash of lemon or lime juice and garnished with a slice of fresh ginger for a zesty kick.
- Virgin Margarita: Ask for a virgin margarita or simply a mix of lime juice, orange juice, club soda, a splash of lemon, and a little agave or simple syrup. The bartender usually makes it in-house!
- Soda with a Splash: Another easy order is club soda/seltzer with a splash of your favorite juice. We like the idea of pineapple or grapefruit.
- Shirley Temple: A classic and simple choice, maybe ask for a bar glass with some extra garnish.
- Virgin Mule: Everything a mule has to offer but without the vodka. Ginger beer, lime juice, simple syrup, and garnish. Maybe add a splash of club soda to tame it!
